The original cafe to the left in the background was called Curley's. The building to the right was used as a doctor's office, high school, library and courtroom. It was bought by Irene Applegate in 1955 and she remolded the two buildings into one unit and gave it its present name. The ownership changed hands in 1978 to Dick and Darlene Herrick. Craig & Bambi Hair took over ownership in 1980.

Craig Hair is looking forward to another 25 years of serving friend's with Irene's traditional home cooking and family atmosphere. It gets a little crowded at times, but that's because
