Hayfork VFD is the second largest fire dept in Trinity County. HVFD is trained in all type of fire and rescue methods. The Fire Dept, also has a Rescue squad that is trained for all type of medical situations.

All members of the FD are required to spend many hours in training each year. The HVFD fire rating is a PC 4 in the fire district. The FD has worked many years to achive this national fire rating.


Here some members learn how to put out a car fire. The volunteers from the Hayfork VFD spend many weekends doing some type of training.









The Fire Dept has held a Easter Egg Hunt each year for over 50 years. All the kids turn out for this event. It is just one more thing that the Fire Dept is involve with.
